Before you come in, you book online in a couple of minutes and the $50 deposit holds your spot. I send a prep note on what to wear and bring, and we sort anything specific when you arrive at the Exchange District studio.

In the studio, I light you and direct every frame: posture, angle, where to look, what your face is doing. The people who walk in dreading it are usually the ones most surprised by what we get.

At the end, we run back through the takes together and you pick your keepers. I retouch them and send the finished files within the week, sized and ready for your LinkedIn profile, your company bio, your email signature, and anywhere else your name shows up.

There's no bundle to buy into. You choose your finished images while we review, from $95 each for 2 to 4, down to $85, $75, and $65 as the count climbs. The $50 deposit comes off your session.

What Winnipeg professionals ask me before booking.

What's the best thing to wear for a LinkedIn photo?

Dress a notch above what your field wears on a normal day, and you'll read as someone people want to work with. For most professionals that's a jacket over a plain top; in a less formal industry, a clean collared shirt does the same job. Since the photo really only shows your head and shoulders, the collar and shoulder line carry it, so fit there matters more than anything else you've got on. I send a prep note when you book and we lock it on the day.

Do I need a special LinkedIn session, or will a normal headshot do?

Honestly, not much, and that's the point. A strong professional headshot already works on LinkedIn. What I do is make sure it reads clearly at the small size LinkedIn shows it, with a clean background and a sharp, current expression, and I size the same shots for your company bio and email signature so you're not running three different photos of yourself.

I hate having my photo taken. Will it show?

Probably not. Most people tell me they freeze the second a camera is on them, and that's exactly what I'm there to manage. I direct every frame, your posture, your angle, where to look, so you don't have to perform anything. The ones who walk in dreading it are usually the most surprised by the result.

Will it work anywhere besides LinkedIn?

Yes. The same sitting gives you files sized for your LinkedIn profile, your company bio page, your email signature, Zoom, and a conference or podcast profile. One photo working everywhere your name turns up, instead of a good one on LinkedIn and a dated one everywhere else.

When is it time for a new LinkedIn photo?

When it stops looking like you. A good one holds up three to five years, but update it sooner if you've changed roles, changed firms, or it's a photo from a different chapter. It's the most-looked-at photo you own, so it's worth keeping current.

How soon do I get my photos?

You pick your shots with me at the end of the session, and I send the retouched finals within the week, sized and ready for LinkedIn and everywhere else your photo needs to go.

Then we reshoot, and it's on me. No conditions, and no clock on it. The photo's going to front your profile for years, so it has to be one you're glad to have there. If it isn't, we go again.
