Our studio is located at:

There is 1hr street parking (2hr on weekends) as well as a parkade just south of our studio on Albert St. and a surface level lot at the corner of McDermot and Main - both located very close and only a 1 minute walk. Please enter through the main doors at the corner of Albert St,. and McDermot Ave. . Our Studio is located on the second floor(but 2 flights of stairs up, we are the only door and our name is on the wall. Please come in if the door is closed.

The Headshot Session fees cover your dedicated studio or On-Location time and our talent and expertise as well as 1 Retouched image. I only serves one client at a time to give you our full attention. At your appointment, you'll be able to view your professional headshots as they’re being taken to see in real time if we are achieving the look you are wanting and make changes as necessary. After your session, we will go through your images together and assist you to choose the photos that you would like retouched.

You choose your finished headshots while we review them together — there’s no bundle to buy into. They’re $95 each for 2–4, $85 each for 5–9, $75 each for 10+, and $65 each for 20+. Most people keep two to four.

In the unlikely event that you don’t like any of your headshots at the end of your session, a reshoot appointment at no additional cost will be given if we cannot accommopdate more time for you. We are not happy until you’re happy with your images. We do everything in our power to make sure that you love your headshots! Reshoots are not given once photos have been delivered.

At Two Zero Four Photography, I understand that not everyone loves having their photo taken. I guide and direct you into flattering poses myself, and I’ll show you your headshots at several points during the shoot so you can give feedback. I take that feedback and use it to create images you love!

We understand that situations come up and you may need to postpone or cancel your appointment. Should you need to change your photo shoot date, please let us know as soon as possible. There is no penalty to reschedule your photo shoot due to medical/health reasons. If you are not feeling well, please postpone your photo shoot to keep our staff and clients safe. If you would like to cancel your photo shoot completely, please allow 48 hours notice for a full refund of your headshot session fee. There are no refunds for missed/late cancel appointments.

Please try to be punctual, as we want as much time with you as possible to get the best results and not have you feel rushed. Please note there are others coming in behind you for their appoitments, any missed time will have to come off of your allotted session time. There are no refunds for missed appointments.

When you arrive for your appointment, please come right in. I’ll greet you and help you get any wardrobe changes you’ve brought set up and ready to go, and if I’m still with a client, please just have a seat. With your input, I’ll select your first backdrop, set the lighting just right for you, and start shooting the first set of images. I’m there to guide you into flattering poses and help you feel at ease in front of the camera. We’ll take a short break after the first set so you can review the headshots and give feedback. I’ll take that feedback and keep adjusting through a few more sets, wardrobe changes, and backgrounds as desired, until you have a strong collection of headshot possibilities. At the end of your session, we’ll review all of your images together and you’ll pick your favourites to purchase.

My private studio has a large dedicated client make up/change room with a place to hang your clothing. There are two washrooms right across the hall.

Yes, it’s always a good idea to bring a few wardrobe choices to your photo shoot. We aim to give you a variety of looks during your photo shoot. Occasionally, fabrics can have a pattern that does not photograph well (causes moire). Bringing a few options allows us the flexibility to choose the outfit(s) that work best in front of the camera and that are flattering on you.

Keep it simple! You can’t go wrong with a clean pressed collared shirt and blazer for either men or women. We have put together a blog post with more suggestions for your wardrobe choices to help you pick the best outfit for your photo shoot. It’s always a great idea to bring several options and we can help you choose what’s best at the studio.

RAW files are unfinished images and we do not supply these to our clients. Proof image and retouched images are delivered as high quality JPG images. TIF or PNG are available if requested. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Hair and makeup are not included in your session fee. We do encourage you to come to your session looking your best with your hair and makeup done ahead of time. In the retouching process, we remove imperfections such as blemishes, stray hairs, and bags under your eyes. A Make Up & Hair Artist is available at an additional charge. You’re also welcome to bring your makeup to apply quick touch-ups or your own stylist.

Our standard professional retouching service includes blemish removal, reducing bags under eyes, whitening eyes and teeth, cleaning up stray hairs, and removing lint on clothing. Our retouchers are careful to keep your headshots looking natural - Think you on your best day.

Extensive retouching can be requested for an additional fee. Please contact us for price quotes on specific needs.

Yes! Retouching is the final polish that make great headshots look amazing! Even if you wake up looking your absolute best the day of your photo shoot, professional retouching will create that final polished look that you’re after. Some photographers choose to take retouching too far. You've likely seen images like this. The person looks like they have no pores, their pupils are glowing, and every line on their face as miraculously vanished. Imagine the shock when they show up for their job interview! You can trust Two Zero Four Photography to capture you in your best light, and provide professional retouching that looks just right!

For individual headshot sessions, your fully retouched images land within the week. Let us know if you need a rush delivery.

Our studio delivers the digital headshot images you purchase as high-quality JPG files in a private Dropbox folder or Wetransfer. You can easily access this folder from any device and download your files as many times as you need. USB drives and CD’s are easily lost or damaged. They’re also no longer compatible with many devices these days. Your folder will remain available for 7 days from your photo shoot date but all images are kept for 1 year. Please download and back-up any images you wish to keep during that year and store them safely. If you need another form of transfer, please just let us know

Our studio maintains copyright ownership of every image we take. When you purchase headshots at our studio, you have permission and license to use them personally or professionally both in print and online to promote yourself and your business in perpetuity. Other uses may require a commercial contract and an additional licensing fee. Most headshot clients do not require a commercial contract. Please contact us for details.

No, we do send a TOS that is used for all of our headshot clients.

Make sure to get a good night’s rest the night before your shoot. We also recommend drinking plenty of water which will hydrate your skin and help you feel and look your best! We’re looking forward to creating amazing headshots for you!

Yes! Our studio offers a Shared Headshot Session upgrade! When you book a PRO Headshot Session, you can bring a friend to have them join the session at the same time for only $150! Contact us to book your Shared Headshot Session.
